The Lenawee County Health Department (LCHD) has been notified by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) that a new rule set for the regulation of Michigan body art facilities has been adopted.
On September 11, 2025, the state of Michigan adopted the new rule set which takes effect immediately. All licensed body art facilities should review the new rules and existing law (2010 PA 375) to make sure they are in compliance with the updated requirements.
