- Daybreak (327 Erie St. Adrian, MI 49221)
Are you caring for a loved one and finding it challenging to maintain your own personal boundaries? You’re not alone.
The Lenawee County Department on Aging invites caregivers from all walks of life to join our upcoming Caregiver Support Group session, “Balancing Family Boundaries and Caregiving,” on Monday, September 8 at 2:00 PM at Daybreak.
This session will be facilitated by Kathy Johnston Betzoldt, M.A., L.P.C., a licensed professional counselor with years of experience supporting caregivers through the emotional and practical challenges of caregiving. Kathy brings both clinical insight and compassionate guidance to help you navigate your caregiving journey with confidence.
Together, we’ll explore:
- How to recognize when your boundaries are being stretched too thin
- Tools for setting healthy limits with family members and care recipients
- Strategies to avoid burnout while maintaining meaningful relationships
- Sharing experiences with others who understand your journey
Held in a warm, welcoming environment, this group offers more than just advice — it’s a space for connection, reflection, and empowerment.
Why Attend?
Caregivers often put their own well-being last. But setting boundaries isn’t selfish — it’s essential. Come gain insight, share your story, and leave with a stronger sense of balance and purpose.
This event is free to attend, and all caregivers are welcome.
