Caring for someone you love changes every part of your life and so does imagining life after caregiving ends. Whether you are quietly worrying about the future or already facing loss, you do not have to navigate those feelings alone.
The Lenawee Department on Aging invites you to our next Caregiver Support Group, where we will address the topic: “Rethinking Your Life: Anticipatory and Reality After Your Loved One is Gone.” This group will meet on Monday, February 2nd at 2:00 PM at Daybreak Adult Day Services, located at 327 Erie Street in Adrian.
This session offers a safe, compassionate space for caregivers to talk about grief, identity, and the emotional shifts that come with loving and caring for someone through illness, aging, or decline. Together, we will explore how to honor what was while gently making room for what is next.
This important session will be facilitated by Kathy Johnston Betzoldt, M.A., Licensed Professional Counselor, who brings professional insight and compassionate guidance to this meaningful discussion.
