[ARCHIVED] Reduced Credit Card Processing Fees Now Available for Delinquent Tax Payments

Reduced Credit Card Processing Fees Now Available

The Lenawee County Treasurer’s Office is introducing a new, more affordable way for residents to pay delinquent property taxes by credit card. Taxpayers can now make secure payments over the phone or online through the BS&A system, which offers reduced credit card processing fees compared to paying by card in person.

To make a credit card payment by phone, residents may call 517-252-8972 and follow the prompts for the BS&A payment service.

To make a credit card payment online, visit the BS&A online payment portal here..

In-person payments will continue to be accepted at the Treasurer’s Office; however, this new phone payment service provides a more economical choice for those wishing to reduce fees.

In-person payments remain available at the Treasurer’s Office. There are no processing fees when paying with cash, cashier’s check, personal check, or money order. Please note that personal checks may not be accepted during certain delinquent tax deadlines or if a previous check has been returned to our office.

For more information, please contact the Lenawee County Treasurer’s Office.
