Pleasant View Cemetery is one of more than 4,900 official WAA locations across the country, overseas, and at sea participating in this day of remembrance. Each year, Wreaths Across America brings together volunteers, families, and communities to honor the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans.

The Blissfield ceremony is coordinated and carried out by local volunteers who work throughout the year to raise funds to sponsor wreaths for veterans’ graves. This marks the eighth year that Blissfield has participated in the WAA mission through the placement of wreaths at Pleasant View Cemetery.

Blissfield Township contains three cemeteries—Pleasant View, Spiegle, and Crane—which together are the resting place of approximately 570 veterans. Volunteers will gather at Pleasant View Cemetery to carefully place a wreath at the headstone of each fallen service member, ensuring their memory and legacy continue to be honored.
