[ARCHIVED] Ruck to Remember 2025 – Honoring Veterans and Raising Awareness

Ruck to Remember

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, the community will come together for the second annual Ruck to Remember—a 2.2-mile ruck/walk dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide, especially among Veterans.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and this event shines a light on the heartbreaking reality that approximately 22 Veterans die by suicide each day. By participating, you help raise awareness, foster open conversations, and show support for those affected.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Helicopter in Adrian, MI. Attendees will hear two moving testimonials before setting out on the ruck/walk route, which travels through downtown Adrian to Comstock Park and then returns to the starting point. The day will conclude with a banner signing ceremony to honor and remember those lost. Volunteers will be stationed along the route to assist and guide participants.
